Hoolaulea at the Great Lawn, Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort

Welcome to Honolulu! We are excited to share our aloha with you in the time-honored island tradition of a Hoolaulea, which in the Hawaiian language means to celebrate, and this evening we will celebrate the spirit of friendship and good will and share island delicacies and colorful entertainment on the Great Lawn at Sunset. Experience our island culture in a spectacular setting right on Waikiki Beach.

SATURDAY, JUNE 29

A Tribute to our Military on the "Mighty Mo"

Spend an evening steeped in American history and celebrate national pride at the site of the Battleship USS Missouri at this “USO-Themed” event. Take a tour aboard the ship that saw Imperial Japan’s formal surrender in Tokyo Bay to General MacArthur on September 2, 1945. Fondly known as the “Mighty Mo,” the ship was decommissioned and donated to the USS Missouri Memorial Association, which operates the battleship as a historic attraction and memorial. The ship looks out over historic Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial.

SUNDAY, JUNE 30

A Royal Affair

You are invited to step back into the heart of Hawaii’s history to experience exclusive access to the Iolani Palace, the seat of Hawaii’s royal family. The historic building is the only royal palace on U.S. soil, as Hawaii is the only state once ruled by a monarchy. Experience a special tour of the palace and enjoy the surrounding grounds as it comes to life on a summer night with festivities fit for a king.

Convention Center

MONDAY, JULY 1

Under a Hula Moon, An evening not to be missed!

As a culmination to our summer conference, we will gather under the stars on the rooftop of the Hawaii Convention Center at the edge of Waikiki. There we will enjoy a sampling of a truly amazing array of food and incredible entertainment that convey an important story about our island home. Honolulu is a dynamic melting pot that combines the diverse influences of all who came to our shores, and then elevates those influences to create a dynamic and exciting culture unique to this place.

Oahu remains a vibrant and colorful nexus between the cultures of the East and West. This culture and the lives of the people who live within it are enhanced by its co-existence with the distinct cultural values and traditions of the ancient people who settled this group of islands and served as the first stewards of an extraordinary place.
